‘Male Quick Fit’ Programme (MQF)

Aim

To motivate people to undertake increased physical activity (and a healthy diet) and to recognise their personal responsibility and choice in creating and sustaining their own health.

Method

MQF sessions take thirty minutes or an afternoon can be booked with up to four sessions in 3 hours.

Participants have their body composition measured e.g. body weight, muscle mass, body fat, basal metabolic rate and metabolic age and body water. Measurement is followed by a 15 minute presentation on physical activity and health and interpretation of body composition results.

Group Numbers

Minimum 6 and maximum 12 participants.

Follow-up

Participants body composition measurements may be taken at a later date (recommended 3 months) and compared with initial measures and progress towards goals.
