Positive life

Aim

To empower individuals to implement and manage meaningful behavioural and lifestyle changes which will have a positive impact on both physical and mental health.

To support individuals in self understanding, self confidence and self belief in order to motivate and empower individuals to creating a more balanced and fulfilling life.                  

Overview

The Positive Life Programme is focused on promoting self confidence, self understanding and valuing of self as a means to supporting individuals towards living a lifestyle which promotes health and wellbeing.

Purely Positive uses life coaching techniques to give individuals a basic understanding of the importance of life purpose and life priorities and insight into how they experience fulfilment and find direction in life. It also contains information on key areas which have been shown to affect an individual’s self confidence and desire or ability to focus on self improvement and uses principles and the practice of goal setting to support individuals in addressing areas requiring action in their lives.

The Positive Life Programme employs methods and approaches form life coaching, social marketing and stress management to compliment and support recognised health promotion approaches.

Course Design

  • for 6 or 7 consecutive weeks
  • 1½  to 2 hours
  • Weekly relaxation exercise.

The course is tailored to the needs of the group, priority topics for discussion are identified by participants. 

Group Numbers

Minimum 6 and maximum 12 participants.
